Are Roblox Executors Allowed?
No. Roblox does not allow executors that modify the Roblox client or change how Roblox works. Roblox can suspend or terminate accounts connected to detected modified-client use. A clean file scan, private server, new account, or “undetected” label does not change that rule.
What Does Roblox Prohibit?
Roblox prohibits cheating, exploiting, modified versions of its app, and external software that changes how Roblox operates. A script executor falls inside that rule when it alters the client or runs unauthorized code during an experience.
The restriction concerns the behavior, not the product name. Renaming an executor, changing its key system, or calling it a development tool does not make unauthorized client modification permitted.
What Can Happen to an Account?
Roblox states that modified-client use can trigger action up to account termination. Its anti-cheat guidance describes temporary suspension and permanent bans for repeated use.
Account action can remove access to progress, purchases, limited items, groups, and creator assets. If you still choose to test, use a new account with no Robux, purchases, valuable items, groups, creator assets, or important progress. That choice limits what can be lost; it does not prevent detection, grant permission, or protect another account or device. Do not create an account to evade an existing restriction.
Account value and device safety remain separate from Roblox permission. Use the Safety section to choose the correct account and package checks without confusing those decisions with platform rules.
Does a Private Server Make an Executor Allowed?
No. A private server changes who can join an experience; it does not change Roblox’s rule against modified clients and software that alters Roblox. The same distinction applies to an alternate account: fewer assets are exposed, but the activity remains prohibited.
Is There an Exception for Creator Testing?
Roblox documents one narrow modified-client enforcement exception. A creator with edit permission for a place can test an anti-cheat system with a modified client inside that place only.
The exception does not cover testing in someone else’s experience, ordinary gameplay, farming, movement advantages, or running unauthorized scripts outside the editable place. Roblox Studio remains the normal environment for building and testing Luau code.
What Does Place Edit Permission Actually Allow?
Place edit permission applies to a specific experience that the account can edit. A private-server subscription, paid access, group membership, or permission to join an experience does not grant edit access.
The anti-cheat testing exception is limited to work inside that editable place. It does not follow the account into other experiences. The clean test path is to open the place through Roblox Studio, confirm the account can edit it, and keep the test inside that project. If the account cannot open the place for editing, treat the modified-client exception as unavailable.
Are Roblox Studio Scripts the Same as Executors?
No. Roblox Studio runs creator-authored Luau within the platform’s development environment and the permissions assigned to the place. An executor changes or attaches to the Roblox client outside that normal creation path.

Does “Safe” or “Undetected” Mean Allowed?
No. Device safety, detection risk, and platform permission are 3 separate questions. A file can contain no known malware and still violate Roblox rules. A tool can avoid an immediate warning and still face later detection. A new account can reduce the value at risk and still receive enforcement.

What Should You Do After a Modified-Client Warning?
Stop using the modified client. Roblox instructs mobile and console users to uninstall the modified version and reinstall Roblox from the normal app store. Windows users should remove the modified version and reinstall Roblox from the Roblox website.
If the warning appears while no modified client is knowingly installed, record the exact message and contact Roblox Support. Do not add exclusions, block update traffic, or install a claimed anti-detection patch.
Roblox Executor Rules FAQ
Can an executor be legal but still violate Roblox rules?
Yes. Platform permission and local law are different questions. Roblox can enforce its Terms and Community Standards regardless of whether an app’s possession creates a separate legal issue.
Can Roblox ban a new account used with an executor?
Yes. A new account limits exposed purchases and progress; it does not prevent account action.
Does uninstalling an executor remove a previous violation?
No. Uninstalling stops future use on that installation but does not erase activity Roblox already recorded or reverse completed enforcement.
What is the safest way to test Roblox scripts?
Use Roblox Studio and test inside places you own or can edit, following Roblox’s creator tools and permissions.
